Breakfast in Schaumburg

I did a search and came up with a 2 year old post that never got answered either so I'm going to throw this open again. We're meeting a friend "half way" on Saturday around 10, I came up with plenty of Panera's and Corner Bakery but would really like a regular sit down place. I came up with Omega on Wise Road, Richard Walker's on Roselle and Old Bridge on Golf. Anyone have any experience with these three places or know of anything else? There is a time limit so going over in to the lunch hour is not an option. Thanks to all!

I often meet people at the Richard Walker's. It's good, like most other Walker Bros locations.

Omega is a typical Greek diner, they will have just about everything and a good place to sit and meet.

I would have to agree with Omega - Old Bridge, I wouldn't even bother. It used to be just okay but has gone downhill.

I like Egglectic in Rolling Meadows, it is near Schuamburg.

Schaumburg Restaurant might be what your looking for. Been there forever,Kenny will take care of ya !!

You don't say whether easy access from the interstates is a requirement. Richard Walkers is pretty good. Egg'clectic is a pretty good pretty good breakfast/lunch place. Those two are pretty accessible from the big highways. Schaumburg restaurant is good but located in deepest darkest Schaumburg. I've observed that most folks think Schaumburg=Woodfield mall.
http://www.chandlerschophouse.com/ Chandlers would be interesting. I've never been there for breakfast (which is seasonal). They've been quite good for lunch and dinner. It's in the Schaumburg golf course and the main dining room has large windows. Roselle rd may still be a construction mess though.
If you want something odd, Ikea has a pretty good and really cheap breakfast.
Other greek diners would be the Rose Garden at Higgins and Arlington Hts Rd. and Ritzy's on Algonquin near Egg'clectic. I'd go with Egg'clectic over those two.

Thanks for all the replies. This quest did not have a happy ending, for me anyway. Our friend was very adamant about meeting at a certain time, that there was a very tight threshold in which she was able to meet. I gave her a list of the choices and she choose Richard Walker's Pancake on Roselle Road. When we were about 15 minutes from the restaurant, she calls us and tells us she's been delayed at least a half hour. Well, it wound up being much longer and this put us well in to lunch time. I can't eat eggs so Walker's was a stretch for me anyway, I figured I was just going to have something light and have a nice lunch somewhere else later but after having to wait an extra hour, I was hungry! I know many people can eat breakfast at any time of the day, I can't. My partner had a spinach crepe which she said was more like a scrambled egg around spinach, no crepe to be seen or tasted. I had their burger, one of 3 selections that was not a breakfast item and only served after 11 am. The burger was cooked through, I asked for medium. There was not very much juice and it tasted like the frozen "Pub" burgers that Jewel has on special now and then. The fries were ok, a little too thick and under cooked but the burger left an odd taste in my mouth, maybe freezer burn? To make matters worse, the 3 of us were seated at a table for 2. Our friend declared it wonderful, we decided that we'd never go back, our little favorite mom & pop back home has far better food that is made from scratch and is fresh.

Bumping the thread to ask what's good for brunch/lunch around Woodfield these days.
