Posting back on details of the dinner. I went over the menu with Brad, the manager, and most of menu is based upon his suggestions. Everything will be served family-style; as I mentioned in a different thread, this is a very small restaurant with a kitchen that I guarantee is probably smaller than yours, so this facilitates serving food in a faster manner. Although I find the plating here to be quite nice, it just doesn't make sense for 14 or so people. Besides, we're LTHers and "wanna eat," so I hope you'll defer to my judgment in that respect.
Okay, so the menu is as follows, possibly subject to change/tweaking:
To start:
Assortment of hot and cold antipasto, such as grilled mushrooms, mixed greens with pear and parmiggiano, and a selection of cured meats
Second course:
Gnocchi with browned butter and sage
Penne
BologneseThird course:
Marinated, grilled leg of lamb with rosemary potatoes and spinach
Braised beef short rib with saffron risotto
For three courses, the price is $47, exclusive of tax and tip. I know this was posted as a "GNR" dinner, but really it is less about that and more about just enjoying a meal with fellow food and drink lovers, and having fun.
See you all there!
