Would love to hear member's thoughts on where to get the best waffles (made from scratch) in Chicago.I Am particularly looking for a Maple Nut flavor.

Walker Brothers' Pancake House (Wilmette) has wonderful pecan waffles. You can add the maple syrup. They also have a location in Highland Park, but I can't vouch for the waffles there.

Can't guarantee "maple nut" waffles but for my dollar you can't beat Yolk on S. Michigan....I mean seriously, Bacon Batter Waffles?!! nom nom nom
