Chinese carryout around West Chicago??

Recently moved out here and would like to find a good carryout place.. we've driven by a good dozen places but I would like to find one that people recommend so that I'm not just going into it blindly.. Batavia, St. Charles or Geneva welcome as well.... delivery would be even better!! Thanks!

East China Inn in Batavia has been around for at least 15 years. Nice family run spot. They have 4 places now but the flagship is in downtown Batavia by the Walgreens.

edit to add that they do deliver but not sure about the range.

We like to go to Silver Lake which is in a strip mall next to the Jewel that is at the corner of North avenue and Kirk Road, in St. charles, Southeast corner. Very reasonable prices, we like their lunch specials.

You don't say where in West Chicago you live but I lived on the eastern border with Winfield for many years. We found the best Chinese to be Jin's China at the corner of Pleasant Hill Road and Geneva Road. Their address is Wheaton but close enough for a quick run for some excellent food.

They've been in business since 1989 or so and continuously produce quality food. They have the best crabmeat rangoon. Everything is made fresh to order and they will substitute ingredients as requested. I had my last meal there in March 2007 and it was as good as my first in 1989. I've never had a bad dish from Jin's.

If you're new to the area, Washington Street heading east becomes Geneva Road before Prince Crossing Road. Pleasant Hill Road is about 3 miles east of Washington St/Route 59 intersection.
