Post #1 - October 1st, 2008, 6:31 amAt lunch yesterday I was reminded that the Blue Frog in River North is a congenial spot for decent food and unpretentious drinking in a neighborhood where options are fairly limited. It's a dive, no doubt, and I kind of would rather they didn't have karaoke as often as they do, but...
Anyway, our waitress told us that they are closing "sometime in the next few days" to knock out a wall and expand. They'll reopen sometime in the next six weeks. Assuming they don't try to remodel into Martini Park North, this can't hurt.
I'm thinking about calling for an LTH cocktail hour there when they reopen. Board games!
