Post #2 - October 1st, 2008, 2:22 pmBig fan of Tammy's Pizza and Pasta from when I lived in Fox Lake, this was a common lunchtime destination. It's a typical bar setting with peanut shells on the floor, but they make a terrific thin crust pizza. Their sandwiches are also first rate, the italian beef is more of a french dip than beef, but it's quite tasty. I also recommend their burgers for a real good char flavor.
During the boating season, this place gets packed on the weekends, and even ordering carryout can incur a long wait, as their pizza ovens can get maxed out.
