Pretty good deal I think from one of my favorite sites:
    http://www.graveyardmall.com/kichcumemimk.html

    Kitchenaid mixer $299

The outstanding tilt-head design of the KSM152PCR mixer keeps the beaters below the lip of the bowl, which, in turn, keeps the batter in the bowl instead of on your walls. Use the pouring shield, and you'll really be cookin'. With the head tilted up, you get the clearance you need to access the inside of the bowl, so you can stir to your heart's content without wrestling around the beaters. The tilt head also allows you to remove the bowl with one quick turn. In the end, you'll spend more time cooking and less time cleaning up. Thanks, KitchenAid.

Wisconsin-based appliance-ugly furniture-television retailer American TV is closing and has been having a liquidation sale for a few weeks now with a few weeks to go, and just today their Oak Creek WI store finally lowered the price on the KitchenAid Pro 600 575W mixer to below the best deal I'd found online. (That would be newegg.com in case you're curious, which has $120-$130 discounts off their regular $450 price every few weeks. Right now, in fact. Free shipping.)

So anyway their formerly sizable heap of new-in-the-box Kitchenaids is down to two Pro 600s after I bought mine for $293 plus $15ish sales tax, one opened-box Artisan mixer ($279ish), one or two Classic mixers with glass bowl ($240ish) and a few 5 qt classics ($225ish). There's also a couple shelves full of demo units of the above models - no boxes in view, probably missing attachments too - but they haven't discounted these below the new-in-box prices. Apparently they're cutting prices about $30 every week and what sells, sells. These demos might be a good deal if they're still there after a few more rounds of price cuts, so you'll want to make a note of replacement bowl & attachment prices if you're interested in those.

Prices and selection may be different at other locations - the Brown Deer store had only one mixer for sale a couple weeks ago - so don't go too far out of your way for this.

The newegg page I've linked to below has a link to a special offer form -- buy one of the 6 qt KitchenAid stand mixers listed on the form before 3/31, from anywhere except Macy's or Lowe's or Bed Bath or online auction sites, send in the form with receipt and UPC and they send you a free ice cream maker attachment. I was gonna buy one of those anyway...

Hi- There is a really good sale right now at Kohl's on the Kitchenaid Artisan and Classis series mixers, but it involves entering in a code, and sending in for a $50 rebate, and receiving $45 in Kohl's cash. With all this the Classic mixer is $100, and the Artisan series is $150. I found this deal on mashupmom, which is a local couponing site. I know some people here are not willing to go through the hoops required to get it that cheap, but here is the link to the deal over at mashupmom.com. She has both deals listed, but I am not sure if the Artisan one is still current. She posted that one yesterday. The classic one just got posted this morning.

I am not sure how long this deal is supposed to continue, and it might end today. Over at mashupmom you can also find out about the small appliance sale and rebate that is going on at Kohl's right now. There are $10 and $12 rebates going on right now on a rice cooker, toaster waffle maker and a few other small appliances. With the rebate it makes those items free. Hope this helps, Nancy

Costco has the 6qt Professional with the bowl-lift mechanism for $289 and there's a $50 Kitchenaid rebate for that model.
