I don't want to discourage anyone because it's still uncertain how our attendance is shaping up but as I stated at the outset, seating for this event is going to be limited. For that reason, please understand that even if you sign up here, the is still a chance that there may not be room for us to fulfill your request.

Signing up here does, however, assure you that you will be offered a chance to buy seats -- based on their availability -- in the in order which you posted on this thread.

    Thanks, for your understanding.

    Update:

Everyone on the list above has (or should have) received a PM containing instructions on how to purchase tickets for this event. If you are signed up above and have not received the PM to which I refer, please notify Mhays or myself asap.

Please follow the instructions in the PM and purchase the quantity of tickets you requested above by no later than noon on Saturday November 1. After that time, tickets will no longer be available via EventBrite.com.

If you are not signed up above, you may still request tickets by posting here. However, it is unlikely that we will be able to fulfill your request.

There is a slim chance that we may be over capacity, because we are still waiting to hear back from a few of the restaurants that are going to be honored. If this turns out to be the case, we will fulfill the orders placed at EventBrite.com according to the queue which is posted here -- not in the order in which they are placed at EventBrite.com. This means that there is also a slim chance that you could purchase tickets and be informed -- after the transaction takes place -- that we cannot accomodate you. In these instances, we will notify you on Sunday 11/2 and issue refunds shortly thereafter.

Just a few hours until the GNR awards dinner begins and I am surprised at excitement and anticipation that I am feeling right now. I think that it is partially because it is my first LTH event and I don't know quite what to expect besides outstanding food. I presume that GF will be the only <30 couple there, but that is not important. More important to me is to have a great time, eat some good food, and celebrate the accomplishments of some fantastic Chicago area restaurants. I look forward to meeting everyone tonight!

One of the great things about Argyle being 3 stops away on the red line is that we don't ever need an excuse, but we will certainly take one when we can get it. Plus, this dinner and the election tomorrow kept me from going to Fargo.
