I enjoyed the meal at Elago immensely. This week (month?) they were doing specials in conjunction with
Botafumeiro, a Galician restaurant in Barcelona that I enjoyed a few years ago. Half the menu was Mexican and half was Galician.
Although it is like comparing apples and oranges, I enjoyed the food more at Haciendo de los Morales. I did go with friends who knew the staff, so we were treated extra special. Desserts at both places were extraordinary. You should give Guadiana a try.
The dollar right now is pretty strong against the peso, so I was pleasantly surprised at the prices. The only meal I paid for was Hacienda de Los Morales. Six of us ordered starters, mains, and dessert; with wine and tip it came out to $244.
