I've done a search and nothing came up (hard to believe?). Where is the best place in Chicago to buy white truffles? I live in River North. Was thinking Fox & Obel but maybe others have a better (and cheaper) recommendation?

They may only sell to restaurants but it couldn't hurt to ask. Try Pasture to Plate.

I'm not sure if they carry them or not, but it might be worth a call to JP Graziano's on Randolph.

When it comes to white truffles, its better to go to some place that will let you reject them if they aren't up to snuff- they are too damn expensive otherwise.
is making all his reservations under the name Steve Plotnicki from now on.

Any updates on this? I'm looking for a place that will sell me a white truffle for a small Thanksgiving dinner.
