I concur with the suggestion on chowhound for all Bucktowners to arrange a meet up for dinner somewhere in the neighborhood. I am open to suggestions...and it does not sound like The Bristol is the place. Any thoughts?

    HI,

You may want to read these tips on event planning. It is our experience setting a date, time and location gets far more play than asking for meet-up suggestions.

Why not read through posts here to find out what people are talking about in ( oops Wicker Park) Bucktown. Especially if there are largely glowing reviews, you will find people who will want to try it with you.

It's ironic a chowhound suggestion brought you here. We largely left because we could not do event planning without our posts getting pulled. Certainly it wasn't the only issue, however it was certainly a leading contributor.

Good luck! Ask questions here or PM if you need more help.

    Regards,
    Cathy2

    HI :)

As Cathy suggests, saying "let's have a get together in Bucktown at XYZ" works well

I'll throw out a suggestion to hold this event at Chaise Lounge. The chef is a friend of the forum, the food is very good, and I think the place is comfortable for group dining.
