Has anyone tried either of these places before? Great names. I never knew it existed. Lunch is coming up quick and I need something tasty to sustain me...

Try Rustaveli, though Rustabelly would indeed be an awesome name.

I definitely recommend Sh. Rustaveli - it's a cuisine that's not common, and interesting. The couple that runs it can be a bit standoffish at times, but can warm up if it seems you like the food. They'll probably be out of something - just ask what's best today. Be aware, though - hours are irregular.

Rustaveli has one of the best shish kabobs I've ever eaten. I'd stick to those plus dumplings, maybe a mushroom dish if they have it. Portions can be on the small side for some things (chicken with mushrooms was just enough for a lunch)

I have not had a moment to search but I am nearly certain that there is an older thread dealing specifically with Shota Rustaveli, a Georgian restaurant on (near?) Devon. It should come up if you search by the last name or even, possibly, using the word "Georgian." Good luck!

I'm guessing you're thinking of Tbilisi, the other Georgian restaurant in the area. Sh. Rustaveli is on Dempster.

Don't worry, I've had that on my mind since your first post. I'll be there quite soon, I suspect.
