Rec for Restaurant near Chicago and Milwaukee

Does anyone have a recommendation for a restaurant near, or within a mile or so of Chicago Ave. and Milwaukee on Saturday late afternoon/early evening???

Criteria:

Not too expensive
sit down with waitstaff (not a "sandwich shop or fast food" type atmosphere)
Not a chain
Not huge lines to wait to get a table-(may take reservations)
Not too noisy
Has adequate or reasonable parking (valet or paid parking ok if reasonable)
Good food of course
over 40 crowd feels comfortable

P.S. I was thinking about Club Lucky but I've never been there. One person in the party is an American born Italian of Sicilian descent that grew up in Brooklyn. With trepidation I would go to Club Lucky or any Italian restaurant as it seems no restaurant compares to the way "mama" made it and of course everything is over priced to them.

I don't think either have valet parking, but so far I've not had a problem parking near that stretch of W. Chicago.

Haven't been yet, but I've heard great things about Chickpea, a Palestinian place up west on Chicago. Unlike many of our venerable area Palestinian places, this one seems to focus more on home-cooking than some other places. The specials they have listed are all stuff you would eat in the typical Palestinian kitchen.

If I didn't eat so much of that kind of stuff already I would've literally ran over there. But hey, why do that when I can just go to Aunty's crib?

There's Paramount Room, too, just a bit down Milwaukee past Grand Ave. I don't think that it would be too busy (as noted in the linked thread, weekend nights can have a poor effect on its food) when you're planning on going. You could also call ahead and ask about reservations, too.

The Silver Palm is very pleasant and perfectly located.

the Paramount Room huh?? the very FIRST criteria is "not too expensive". of course the link provided is titled..."Paramount Room: Bring Your Wallet".

If you read further in that thread, you would see they have a $10 burger and pint deal that is quite affordable. I've been to the Paramount Room twice and would not classify it as an expensive night out.

The upcharge on the fries or tempura green beans with a burger is $2. I think $12 for a burger (w/ fries) and a craft beer is pretty good. I would not say the Paramount Room is cheap eats, but I wouldn't say it's expensive either. As with all places, some things on the menu represent better value than others.

Two of my favorite places!

For Italian....I would suggest LaScarola....on Grand just east of Halsted which has great pasta and my favorite Italian chicken dishes in the city. They have valet parking and at that time should be no wait and the crowd is usually over 40 easily...
Just around the corner on Halsted and Grand is Piccolo Sogna which is a much more refined Italian and meets all your other requirements but might be a little pricey.
West Town is a good choice as mentioned earlier so is the Silver Palm which has a great burger and very good ribs and best drinks in town.
