I'm heading back to Chicago in a couple weeks and I was curious to know if anyone knew where I could pick up some sodas I tried when I was in England a while ago. I am looking in particular for Lilt or Tango ( especially apple flavor). Last month I checked out Treasure Island to no avail.Anyone else familiar with these sodas or know where around Chicago I may be able to find them ?

I'm not sure if they have them but you could try to call the Cost Plus World Market closest to you and ask. I know they have a lot of candy from the UK.
One Mint Julep was the cause of it all.

You could also contact America's Market in Wheeling (847.850.6983). They have chimed in previously about carrying hard-to-find sodas.

You could phone a store called British Accents in Long Grove (not all that far from Wheeling). They have quite a variety of British foodstuffs. I haven't been there in a while though.

As part of my family is originally from the UK I always keep an eye open for British foods and I can't say I have ever seen British sodas in the US, usually just beverages like Lucozade and Ribena.

I'll second America's Market. They mostly carry American stuff, as you might guess, but I think that if you promise them you'll buy up X bottles, they'll do all they can to find it for you. They still carry the Dutch Coca Cola that stevez requested a few months back.
