I'm looking for a place that serves a mean (Mexican) chorizo and eggs. Any suggestions?

Toast does a nice chorizo, cheddar, and egg scramble. Nothing substantially better than what you could make at home, but it will certainly fit the bill if you've got a craving.

i was going to say toast too, but someone beat me to it. i'm not even a huge fan of that place, but i had that dish there once and i've gone back for it multiple times since. as the other poster noted, it's nothing earth-shattering, but they just do a very nice job with it.

for a nothing fancy version- I've always enjoyed the "Huevos con Chorizo" or even the "Tocino con Chorizo" (Bacon) at
Lazo's Tacos on Western- 2 doors North of Armitage- parking lot on he West side of the Street.
Served with Rice/Beans, tortillas (Harina/flour on request!) and a bit of lettuce/slice-o-Tomato.

(OH- and for a LOT less than what Toast charges!!!! like 1/2 the price)
    :)

Horizon's Cafe at 3805 N. Broadway has a couple great egg dishes with chorizo. The Buenos Dias Skillet is an awesome mash up of peppers, onions, and cheese with chorizo and your choice of eggs. The Spicy Chorizo omelette incorporates many of the same flavors, and the size of the omelette is incredible! Both the skillet and omelette always satisfy whatever is ailing me.

probably the best chorizo related breakfast i've had is the huevos benedictos at sola (lincoln and byron). they're a piece of cornbread topped with chorizo, a poached egg, and salsa hollandaise. pretty amazing.
