Cured ham will freeze just fine. Last week I had an excellent sandwich of Kentucky ham I froze after last Christmas. It would be much better if you can vac-pack it, to hold down the freezer burn.
I have a 16-pound Kentuckey ham in the fridge for Christmas. After the holiday, I will slice as much as possible for sandwiches, cut off the other chunks to be ground up for ham salad, and portion them, vac-pac each portion, and freeze. The bone is for split pea soup.
