    Va Pensiero tasting menu for the month of January will be focused on the mighty swine.
    I have been practicing cooking pork belly and it is coming out nice
    JDY meats is assisting with finding the products

    Thanks for posting what sounds like a nice (and reasonably priced) pork menu. It's been a couple of years since my last visit to your restaurant, and - to be honest - my recollections are mostly of decent, but not great, meals. To be fair, all of my meals at Va Pensiero have been as part of large-ish private parties I used to organize.

    Anyway, I've appreciated your upfront approach to participating in the forum as a restaurant owner, and I'm looking forward to a soon-to-come return visit. Plus, if the website is accurate - you have two bottles of rarely-found Schiopettino on your wine list! I'm quite enamored (some might say obsessed) with that grape since my trip to Friuli this fall.

    Perhaps I'll try to convince a few fellow LTHers to join me for dinner in the next couple of weeks. My non-carnivorous better half is probably out.
