Wow, Toria, guess no one had a clue. I know I didn't.
A year or so ago, at Scott Waguespacks election night party (while waiting for returns), a bunch of us who helped with the campaign were packed into the small office, eating an odd mix of food brought by the volunteers. There was a cake there that I could have eaten twenty pieces of. I hate to admit it....it was like a Ho-Ho in layer form. But, good. I mean, with GOOD filling - not hydrogenated fake ingredients. I could have eaten the whole thing.
Like you, I have no idea who made it, what it was, or where to even start to find it. You certainly couldn't walk around to the funeral guests asking, "Excuse me, but who made that delicious cake?" now could you? In my case, I really don't want to find it because I'd make it and eat it and now that I'm not in the thrall of election night and eating things I never make at home, I'm SURE that it's really not that much better for me than a Ho-Ho and probably wouldn't taste nearly as good the second time around.

Then again, maybe it would be worth trying it just one more time
