Happy Hour in Western Suburbs?

Hi again.. have a food need so once again I turn to the experts
Looking for some Happy Hour ideas in the Western Suburbs. Four of us ladies are celebrating a birthday Friday night with some beverages and some food. We'll be hungry, thirsty and on a budget. We're hoping to take advantage of some Happy Hour bargains if they're out there.

McCormick and Schmicks in Oak Brook has some decent happy hour grub. You have to buy 2 drink minimum each to qualify for the deals though. I believe it's from 4PM until 7PM, but don't quote me on that. Here's a sample menu.....

The 1.95 hamburger was the best 1.95 hamburger I've ever had.

Thanks Eric, that's a great one! I called Oakbrook and they confirmed the required two beverages, but they can be a Coke, a beer, a martini whatever. And, the hours are 3:30 to 6:30 Monday through Friday at this location.

I'll lead off with the disclaimer that I've never actually been there for happy hour, but I've heard good things (from several fairly reliable sources) about a happy hour special at Papadeaux Seafood Kitchen (there is one near Oak Brook in Westmont). I don't know all of the details, but I have heard that it is a good deal and that the happy hour grub is pretty decent.

I've done the Pappadeuxs-Westmont happy hour probably 5 or 6 times, 1/2 price appetizers at the bar only, although I am not sure if they offer this special on Fridays. I think it is from 4 - 6 p.m. if I remember correctly.

Food is just ok, nothing great. above average crab cakes, average scallops w/ dirty rice, etc.

We've done Pappedeaux many times.... used to be 1/2 price appetizers in the bar from 3-6 Monday through Friday. I just saw an ad in the local paper that said it's still Monday through Friday, but said something to the effect of appetizer specials (not necessarily 1/2 off). I'd call to make sure....

I think Carlucci's also has happy hour specials. Plus if you go on Friday, they offer penny wine in the restaurant. All you need to do is purchase an entree (food is so-so) and glasses of vino are a penny! We've walked out of there with a 6 cent bar bill!
