I live up on Barry and am hoping to have some easy and pleasing Thai tonight while I study for my Torts final. Any ideas?

Sorry if this is redundant, I just find it hard to wade through a search with really common terms. Also, I don't need something super crazy since I just really have a craving for good green curry, especially one with some eggplant in it (although that isn't a necessity).

A bit northwest of Lakeview at Western and Irving Park you'll find Sticky Rice. It's been discussed, and praised (deservedly), ad naseum here. I highly recommend it. Do a search for it in the forums and you'll get more color.

TAC Quick is just as close and tasty, at 3930 N. Sheridan. I dig the duck curry.

Try P.S. Bangkok on Clark or Halsted (there are two). Definitely good Thai food. That or Cozy of Chicago (on Sheffield I think). Now I'm craving Thai! :)

    Royal Thai.

The only place I have found in Chicago to serve sticky rice with coconut sauce and mango for dessert.

Spoon Thai which is only a couple El stops north on the Brown Line also serves rice with coconut milk and mango. They're my favorite Thai spot. Also a GNR

That's actually quite common, even at the less authentic Thai places. Please try the several Thai GNRs. Sticky Rice would be a natural start.
