Is anyone interested in purchasing Guayeco & Co. guava marmalade for $4 per jar?
If I can place an order for 6 jars, shipping will be free.

Guava marmalade can be used in pastry-making and it goes well with cheese.

I will not be making a profit from this, and I am in no way affiliated with Guayeco. I'm just interested in trying the marmalade, which was apparently a hit at the winter Fancy Food Show in NYC.

Do you go to Culinary Historians or Chicago Foodways Roundtable? Just trying to figure out how I might be able to get a jar from you if I were to say "yes" to the marmalade. I like guava paste and jam, as well as guava soda, so I imagine I'd like the marmalade. But there's that issue of you being urban and me being sub.

Let me know, and maybe I'll join you in this. (Though I'll gladly defer to interested parties who might not present any delivery problems.)

I'll buy a jar. I'm not exactly close to Andersonville, but I can combine pick-up with a trip to Natalina's. :)

I'll go in for a jar as well.

Don't live close to Andersonville, but will pair pickup with a visit to Hopleaf or In Fine Spirits. :)

Fleurdesel, I was wondering where you ordered the marmalade. I went to the website per your link and the shopping section wasn't available. Were you able buy directly, or through a different outlet? Thanks.

just tried it with some gooey, ripe sheeps' milk cheese from Prairie Fruits Farm. Fantastic. The guava marmalade tastes like pure, unadulterated guava. Sweet and tropical with virtually no citric or acid undertones. Makes a great accompaniment to strong-flavored, funky cheese. Thank you, fleurdesel, for introducing this to me! I may need more.
