It's my birthday, I can dine where I want to, dine where I want to, dine where I want to....

So tell me -- Blackbird or One Sixtyblue for my birthday dinner in two weeks' time? Took my gf to North Pond for Valentine's Day -- this time it's her treat. If anything, better food is more important than better service. Looking for interesting and mind-bendingly good gustatory experiences. Other recommendations will be considered if you want to rave about a place.

    Thanks!!

If you haven't done so already, read the threads on the restaurants in the running. You might be able to make a determination from the conversations there.

    GP,

No need, I'll make it for him.

    Blackbird.

I very much enjoy One Sixtyblue, I do, but if "food" is the determining factor, Blackbird hands down.

I am very much in agreement, Blackbird all the way!

I haven't been to One Sixtyblue but I'd still go with Blackbird. Blackbird was a great experience and I couldn't be more supportive of that pick.
    GOOD TIMES!

We went to Blackbird, and you know what? It was good, but I would rather have gone to Avec :)
