I sure could go for a Sloppy Joe. Is there any place near Skokie that has these on the menu? I was thinking Patty's Diner if only they weren't closed on Mondays!

The Edgewater Lounge, which is not too far from Skokie, serves sloppy joes on Tuesdays. I like this place quite a bit. The beers are respectable, featuring several Rogue brews on tap, and the food is decidedly above-average bar fare. Old-timers tell me it's what the Hopleaf used to be like.
