    Hi,

The great grandson of a Cock Robin - Prince Castle founder is making their English Toffee for the holidays. It is locally available at Naper Nuts & Sweets, 10 W. Jefferson, Downtown Naperville, 630/355-5330.

    Regards,
    Cathy2

Here's the closest thing to a Cock Robin ice cream scoop that I have been able to find.

I got one of those scoops for Christmas. I had high hopes for it but it just doesn't do the job getting the ice cream in or out in my opinion. Hope you have had better luck with it.

I'm from Rockford, The Prince Castle building in the 900 block of Broadway is still standing. It's a car lot now. I have seen the scoops on e-bay at times going for around $600

Thanks! Now a trip to Rockford has an interesting slice-of-history stop.
