Portuguese restaurant in Chicago???

Post #1 - May 6th, 2009, 1:25 pmDoes anyone know of any Portuguese retaurants in or around Chicago? I've searched, but can't seem to come up with anything. I believe someone mentioned one that's recently opening in Oak Park, but i don't have a name or location. Any and all suggestions are welcome!

Post #4 - May 6th, 2009, 8:42 pmAvec is as close as we get. Taste of Brazil opened in Oak Park recently and has some Portuguese-influenced items (as do all Brazilian places, nature of the cuisine).

Post #6 - May 6th, 2009, 9:04 pmThe wood grilled rainbow trout last night at Mado was pretty darned close to the char-grilled sardines and other small fish prepared in this way that I feasted on daily in Portugal.
