    Has anyone tried this recently?
    Where did you purchase it?

    Thanks.

I haven't had it, but I know it's available at Sam's (1720 Marcey) and also at the new Drinks Over Dearborn (650 N. Dearborn, 2nd Floor).

I had this at Graham Elliot paired with a carrot cake a few weeks back - I loved it so much on the way home I stopped at Binny's and grabbed a bottle for $35(ish).

If you like ginger - like if Reed's Ginger Ale, Ginger Ice Cream, and Ginger Chews are your thing - then it's a must try.

I've had it in two cocktails both of which were excellent.

A Japanese Ginger-Mint Julip that used it along with a Japanese single malt whisky in a twist on the mint julip at Ai Sushi on Ontario and a cocktail at the Paramount Room that mixed it with Calvados and Rosemary.

I've had it mixed with Jameson, bitters, eggwhite at the Whistler in Logan Square.
and with grapefruit juice and something else at Motel Bar.

I prefer it as the beautiful drink at the Whistler, "The Royal County Down"

There was a rep giving out samples at the Binnys on Grand a week or two ago. They were mixing it with warm apple cider, which was quite good.

It makes a great whiskey sour.

2 parts whiskey (I like rye)
    1 1/2 part lemon juice
1 part Domaine de Canton ginger liqueur

Shake with ice, serve up or on the rocks.

We just tried an amazing locally made, organic ginger liqueur that you MUST try if you like Canton. It's called Koval and available at Binny's (and some Sam's locations).

Second the Royal County Down, by far my favorite Whistler cocktail.
Domaine du Canton comes from the same guys who did St. Germaine, aka the other best new liqueur out there.
Very easy to find about a billion things to mix with them - I like a splash of Domaine in a Plymouth gimlet.

Actually, I believe they are made by brothers. They both formerly worked for the family business, but they don't get along and went separate ways.

A splash of ginger liqueur in a glass of dry bubbly (Champagne, prosecco, cava, etc.) is quite delicious.

Has anyone mixed up anything especially tasty with this lately? I was thinking of pairing it with basil simple syrup and vodka, but would love advice.
