OK - in the matter of disclosure - my original lunch intention today was to hit DD Dogs. But their lot was full and I had to cruise the Noyes corridor to track down a parking spot. I spotted someone pulling out of a metered spot and there was 11 minutes left on the meter! The Parking Gods were on my side today.
I plunked a quarter in the meter and walked along the south side of Noyes. Being the nosy person that I am I looked in the various storefronts along the way. Two doors east of Rollin' In dough Catering I discovered Rollin' To Go. They specialize in cleverly named sandwiches, served hot or cold. There are a couple of pizza options along with some pasta choices. I had the Sean Juan - roast beef, chipotle mayo, sour cream, melted cheese on an onion roll. All of the sandwiches come with house made chips. My sandwich was good. The chipotle mayo had quite a kick. Drinks are limited to canned Coke products and Arizona Ice Teas. You place your order at the counter and they call out your name when you're order is ready.
Overall, a nice accidental discovery. A definite return trip when in the neighborhood. This place is related to Michelini's East. The history's on the web site.
