Amusingly enough, if you google to look for the answer, the thread you mention pops up.

Good plain potato chips (Kettle, etc.) with sour-cream based dip, most often whipped up quickly from sour cream and scallions or shallots - or sometimes tzaziki will do if I've got the ingredients.
Ghiradelli Bittersweet chocolate chips out of the bag (they seem to vary in quality, recent bags are, unfortunately for my waitline, very good)

I can't keep either in my pantry as a staple, I've learned to only buy them if I have an end-use planned - though sadly, I can't resist buying extra for munching. :D

My guilty pleasure while traveling on the interstate: Panda Express at various oases. Noodles with orange chicken.

I love pink zingers. Only the pink ones, not the other flavors.

I also get the occasional craving for a hostess cherry pie or Long John Silvers.

Isn't that part of the fun?

Better add French's fried onions (straight out of the can), Popeye's biscuits, jalapeno Krunchers, pretzels dipped in canned funfetti frosting, and those Snyders of Hanover honey mustard & onion pretzels to the list...

Just don't eat them while driving...what a mess.

I dont have time to cook from scratch, or fire up the smoker everynight, especially on a work night, so Monday was "S. Side Spaghetti":
some hotdogs cut up and mixed with a few cans of Franco American Spaghetti, served with store bought garlic bread, and a "few" cans of beer.

That sounds like my description of the only jello I'll eat - red or green. And only if it's cut up into little cubes.

Which reminds me of another guilty pleasure: buffet chocolate pudding and those do-it-yourself sundae bars. Mmmm!

Havent done this for many years, but when I was single and wanted to get a weeks worth of calories in one meal:

2 slices very dark toast, covered with 1 pound very crispy bacon, covered with 1 box stouffers spinach souffle, covered with 1 box stouffers welsh rarbit. Wash down with a bottle good red wine, preferably bordeaux. Pretty much covered all the important food groups.

Frozen chicken kievs. These corrugated beauties were a mainstay of my childhood. The joy I get from watching the butter-like mixture seep out never diminishes. There should be more dishes of hollowed out meat filled with a pocket of steaming butter and herbs, that I can sully by buying frozen for $1 each.

Since this is in the Chicagoland thread and not Shopping & Cooking (yet?), I'll also put in an enthusiastic mention of golden shrimp. My fave rendition is at Tsukasa in Vernon Hills. As much pleasure as I get eating it I rarely escape without guilt. Especially if I order at a tepanyaki restaurant, where the collective table can sometimes turn into a vehicle for collective disgust, saving me the trouble of self-imposed guilt. Thanks guys!

I'm pretty sure I could polish off an entire box of Entenmann's mini chocolate chip cookies in one sitting.
Speaking of which, does anybody remember these crispy, dark chocolate/chocolate chip cookies that came in a small box with a window in front by Heineman's? Those never lasted long in my house.

Aye -- those would disappear faster than the Entenmann's one, certainly. Very high butter flavor, crisp and small enough to shove in a child's mouth in one bite. Later editions of the in-store Heinemann's (how many n's?) were much inferior, obviously shorting the butter for, well, shortening, and less vanilla. No longer worth the empty calories. I don't know that the Safeway-era Doms even have them any more.

Never been to Tsukas, but Ron of Japan has lobster tail with that goop sauce on it. You want guilt, that's guilt! You can feel your arteries hardening as you eat it.

I once asked one of the chef's at Ron of Japan what the egg sauce was made of and he simply said two ingredients- egg yolk and oil.

As a long time lurker I feel it'd be best to get this out of the way as a first post:

Any sort of chicken strip/tender from basically anywhere. This includes bars, Leonas, Long John Silver's. When I'm not a fan or iffy about a place, i'll go for these.
    Whopper
    Big Mac/Regular cheeseburger
Mcdonalds chicken breakfast biscuit doused in honey.
    Sliders
    Butterburgers
    Jack in the Box tacos
    Popeyes chicken and biscuits
    Cheese nips
    Chapagetti ramen
    Pizza puffs/pizza rolls
    frozen home-run inn pizzas
    mini-Bagel dogs
The already mentioned Snyders honey mustard & onion pretzels

pretty long list and I'm sure there's more I'm not thinking of but at least I don't put ketchup on my hot dog or eat at taco bell

It's a lucky day when I find those in a vending machine. I almost never buy these at the grocery store. They seem more precious in 2-ounce increments every once in a great while.

CrunchBerries and Cap'n Crunch. Still my absolute favorite cereal and I never get tired of it ( well maybe once or twice but I'm not about to admit how much it took :))

Chocolate milk turns me into the Nestle bunny, I can't drink it slowly at all. Boom, it's gone.

Strangely enough, you cannot mix Cap'n Crunch and chocolate milk, the magic disappears when you do.

I had never had one of these (or even was aware of their existence), a situation that my girlfriend thought needed to be remedied immediately. Not bad at all - I can see after a long night of drinking that they'd be incredible. Any tips on really good ones? I see mentions on LTH of Albano's and Damenzo’s, but not a whole lot of detail.

I've never had a pizza puff that has come close to the deep fried ones I had at Evanston Twp HS back in the late 80's. Those were awesome.
