Anyone know of an Italian/Mediterranean restaurant of decent quality that IS open on Mondays?
If not, I will happily chow down at Semiramis, as is the backup plan. But pasta on my birthday is sort of a tradition.

Post #46 - December 16th, 2008, 1:00 pmyea, I did see a poor couple obviously on their first date at a table for two smack dab in the middle of the room. We sat at a four top for two in the corner by the window and had no complaints. Wasn't even cold or drafty.

The Bleeding Heart bakery is also closed on Monday.

I never understood why a breakfast/brunch place would be closed on Monday's. When I think of those Monday public holiday's and the long weekends folks would take, I think breakfast on Monday's is lovely. Also, how could you choose not to sell a bestseller for 4 of the 6 days that you are open.
Well given the clear economic recession, perhaps they will reconsider.
