Had a decent sized shopping list to conquer today. Fresh Farms in Niles suited me fine. Stomach was grumbling on the drive over. Never shop on an empty stomach. :D

Located in the front area of the supermarket. Basically, a walk up-place your-order-and-pay arrangement. Several large tables and a counter for dining in options. The menu consists of the usual shawarma and kabobs, both sandwiches and entree sized, along with falafel. Sides included hummus, yogurt salad, Jerusalem salad, grilled veggies, and tabouleh. There's a specials chalkboard that listed bbq ribs and hamburgers. Are they mediterranean? Beverage choices include the usual Coke fountain selections along with bottled juices.

I didn't want to eat anything heavy as I plan to do some heavy duty grazing at Ravinia tonight. I decided to have a combination plate of their different salads. Overall, not a bad selection. The only downside was the pita bread. Even with reheating on the panini smasher, it still wasn't tasty. Service was quick and friendly.

Sandwiches are in the $4.95 price range. My salad combo was $5.99. Entrees are $6.99 and up.

Definitely a stop in my moderate priced dining near the office rotation.

Version 2.0 is also closed. Overheard the owner saying that he might open up somewhere in Skokie.

Naf Naf's arrival around the corner didn't help. It's now my wife's go-to spot in the area.

    I actually think this is/was version 3.0.
