This is the most amazing Chicago-based food rap I have ever seen. What is that grocery store on Western, by the way?

[note: at the end, the commentary seems to focus on chips and onions, but early on I noted his grilling advice!]

This is inexplicably getting a lot of radio play - in the Twin Cities. Something about the Chicago mystique really captures the national imagination, from Harry Caray on SNL to the Blagosaga. If you search on YouTube you'll find other homemade videos for that song, including one some friends of mine made last year.

Yeah, I saw Will Ferrell as Harry Caray on SNL this past week and was a little perplexed and thought that no one outside Chicago must know who he is (Harry Caray) . . . but I could be wrong. Then again, Patti B. managed to land a spot on "I'm A Celebrity . . ." so maybe there is a bit of national Chicago-fever going on.

That looks like Farmer's Pride Grocery on the southwest corner of Western & Chicago. Here's a link to a photo on Yelp. Why do you ask? Want to stop and get some more brats, on-sale chicken, Italian sausages, orange pop?

That's used in place of Splenda to sweeten his #3 favorite drink, coffee.
