Where can I take my two year old and six week old to eat dinner and watch the Cubs game? I live near Western / Armitage.

There has got to be somewhere, yes?

Maybe The Logan on California near Milwaukee? Nothing special by any means, but they have a lot of TVs, serve food, and I know I've seen kids there (at least during lunch and early dinner hours).

I go to the Boundary quite a bit with my little guy and he's 10 months old. There is usually a high number of strollers rolling around there, especially during the day. I would not bring him up there if it's a Friday/Saturday but most other times, it's the closest thing to a Chili's we have in the neighborhood (not saying that's a good thing but for little ones, it helps).

Since the smoking ban took effect, people have been taking their kids to any old sports bar. As long as it's a weeknight and you're not in the heart of Wrigleyville, I don't see any problem - just go wherever you want to go to watch the game. Otherwise, there's a Chuck E Cheese on Armitage just east of Damen. They have TV's.

Piece is pretty kid-friendly during the earlier hours. Lots of flat screens, good beer, decent pizza. It can get noisy in there, but it means kids can get a little boisterous without anyone minding too much.

Dunlays on the Square has a few TVs, and I have seen some families there enjoying dinner while watching a game. The food is nothing special, but decent. They have some weekly specials that might be going on, too.

I'll second The Boundary. I agree with Kennyz, almost all places in Bucktown with a TV have strollers in them, I've seen them at Cleo's, Pint and Fifty/50. The good thing about The Boundary is that it's cavernous and the kids can make noise without a huge hassle. I think they may even have a changing table in Cleo's and The Boundary.
