Hey All - was hoping you guys could recommend a place to have my son's 1yr b-day party. It'll be mainly adults, so it doesn't have to be overly kid-friendly. It's at the end of summer, so we were thinking of having it during the day, someplace with outdoor seating/private area. Bistro Campagne would be along the lines of what we were thinking, but my wife had her baby shower there, so already done. However, I am willing to spend some money and am def open to unique/unusual ideas. Thanks in advance for your assistance. It's much appreciated.

I am good with anywhere in the Chicagoland area, but since most of our friends are downtown, that would be preferable.

Thanks for the link - def some ideas in there.

Depending on your baseball affiliation, a party at Comiskey could be quite fun, especially in the late summer. They do very good group/party packages.

of the 30-40 or so guests, maybe 5 will be kids under 4 y.o.

I thought about a baseball game, but wanted it to be a little upscale. And although the suites would be inline, they are probably too expensive.

thanks for your ideas so far. please keep them coming!

Keeping the baseball theme and costs down - how about a suite at the recently renovated Kane County Cougars stadium? http://www.kccougars.com/groupssuitesluxury.html
