Post #1 - July 5th, 2009, 9:49 pmI'm looking for a source in Chicago for cream in larger amounts than the cup/pint sized at most stores in the area, maybe a half-gallon or full gallon at at time. I've got a large ice cream-making project coming up for an event and was hoping to avoid having dozens of little cartons littering my kitchen (b/t/w I know there is a recent string on ice cream making out there already but I thought this was more of a shopping question so the new thread).
I thought Oberweis would be the answer but they don't carry/deliver cream.
Has anyone got any thoughts?

Seth is absolutely right. I bought a half-gallon of cream there for around $5.69 over the weekend.
