Sorry, not in the middle. But as this is probably the only chance I'll ever get to mention Fresh Bay Seafood in Elkins on this forum, I'll go ahead and throw that name out there. And if you're only there as a visitor and don't know anything about Elkins, let me recommend beginning your drive with a soft shell crab sandwich at Fresh Bay on Randolph. Fresh Bay Seafood is the kind of place that we stop in, in an unfamiliar town, and on a complete whim, that leaves us wanting to permanently move to that town so we can keep going back to eat there. Just delicious. And you can sit outside on a nice summer day on a wood picnic bench in a sandy lot and feed pieces of hush puppies to appreciative birdies, too.
