Sandwich Fair Culinary Competition!

The Sandwich Fair Culinary Competition will take place on Wednesday September 9th through Friday September 11th of 2009. It will take place at the fairgrounds in Sandwich, Illinois during the 122 annual historic Sandwich Fair. The categories include: Bread for Life, Satisfying Salsa, Favorite Beef, Brownie Bash, Apple Cake, Oodles of Noodles, Favorite Pork, and Cookies & Tea. The entry deadline is August 15, 2009.

Does Sandwich have a combine demolition derby? That is one I have always wanted to see.

I've been to the demolition derby at the Sandwich Fair but it was cars not combines. Somehow combines sounds rather ... deadly!
