I did a search, and while the name of Ann Cooper has appeared here in the past, in discussions on improving school lunches and, three years ago, for a Culinary Historians presentation, I didn't see anything recent, and I thought some of those involved in the whole school lunch discussion might be interested in the online live chat planned for Aug. 28, 2009.

    Here's the blurb:

    Meet the Renegade Lunch Lady!
On Friday, August 28 at 3 p.m. CST Ann Cooper, a.k.a. "The Renegade Lunch Lady" will be answering YOUR questions about school lunch reform and what you can do to help make simple, yet revolutionary changes to school lunch programs in your area. Join the conversation, and get involved!

HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE LIVE CHAT:

    * Return to this page on Friday, August 28 at 1pm PST/3pm CST.
    * At that time, you'll see a live video stream where Chef Ann Cooper will be answering your questions.
    * You'll be able to type your questions for them in the chat box.
    * You will see everyone's questions in real time.
    * Anyone can view this interview but to submit you must have a Facebook profile. or you can submit questions via Twitter directly to @spinnio or @wholefoods. Hashtag: #chefann
    * RSVP and invite your friends on the Chef Ann Cooper interview event page

    AFTER THE CHAT:

Go to http://wholefoodsmarket.com/schoollunchrevolution to get healthy lunch recipes, tips and all kinds of ways to support healthy school lunches.
