We're going to a Kane County Cougars game on Monday and are looking for a place that has outdoor seating for an early dinner (4-ish). What do you recommend in the area that is not expensive ($15 or less per entree)? Booze would be nice but it's not a necessity. No major chains. Any cuisine is good with us! Thanks!

Country House, at the corner of Kirk and Fabyan Parkway, would be perfect. Not only does it meet all your requirements, it's also very close to the ballpark.

I was just getting ready to post Country House too, they have a very large patio plus it's within eyesight of the ballpark.

In Geneva proper, I'd recommend Villa Verone. It's good Italian food, with a really nice outdoor patio.

There are a number of places for outdoor eating in Geneva proper, Urban Grille as linked above has a very small patio, Bien Trucha at the other end of the block has a few tables on the sidewalk, Gratto Italian Tapas on Third Street has a nice sunken patio and Old Towne Pub and Grille at the corner of State and Second has a rooftop deck. The name escapes me of the Mexican place on the southeast corner of State and Rte. 31, they have a deck in back and of course there is The Gazebo at Mill Race for a nice view of the Fox River.

There's a great pavilion overlooking the Fox River at Mill Race Inn. Booze available.

That's what I mentioned upthread, The Gazebo at Mill Race.
