Just came back from the Roscoe Street Oyster Fest and found paper on the windows and doors of Kaze. Peeked inside between some sheets of ripped paper and saw dishes and other items on the bar and tables. Is it closed ?

We tried ordering from them last Wednesday night and heard recorded message thanking us (generically) for our patronage but they had closed. So, I'd say yes.
It is strange as the previous Saturday night they were packed.

That's a shame. Kaze wasn't my favorite place for sushi, but I did like it when I was in the mood for a bit of creativity. Hopefully the sushi chef will land somewhere else in Chicago (or open a new place).
