Post #1 - September 26th, 2009, 9:16 pmI'm just watching this now, dumbfounded - Jacques Pepin (one of my favorite TV chefs, every time I watch, I see that I've stolen most of my techniques from him) cooking with Itzhak Perlman and discussing food and their food history (I loved the story they both told about loving beef lungs as children.) and talking about music and how it works. Brilliant. It's apparently a one-off, an hour-long special. I hope they decide to make more episodes...

Post #4 - October 23rd, 2015, 8:03 amSince the late 1960s, the renowned French chef has created countless hand-illustrated menus, two of which were recently donated to the Smithsonian National Museum of American History’s permanent collection (along with nine prints and several other mementos from Pépin’s personal archives), in concurrence with his receipt of the first annual Julia Child Award.
