Last Minute--Edzo's Burger Shop Preview

Hi all,

Ok...I've got a limited number of spots available for a sneak preview of Edzo's Burger Shop tomorrow (Tuesday) at lunch time. I can accommodate another 15-20 people, so chime in here and let me know if you're interested. I'm going to be training my staff, so I know you'll all understand that your choices will be somewhat limited, the food may take a bit longer than you'd expect at a quick serve place, you should reserve judgment, since we're working on it, and I won't have much time to chat with people.

That said...there will be freshly ground burgers, fresh-cut fries, Maxwell Polishes, and lots of other good stuff.

Let me know. And PLEASE don't come by unless you check in with me first. I'm happy to have people to help us with this, and, really you'll be doing me a favor, but I just don't want to bite off more than we're able to handle and end up disappointing people and/or turning the training into a free-for-all. Thanks for understanding.

Please let me know if there's room for one more. Edzo's is mere minutes from my office. The thought of hand-dipped milkshakes and onion rings just beckoning me every day, leaving my healthy salad wilting in the office fridge, is sort of scary

Tomorrow is looking like it'll be a crazy day in the office, and there's a chance I won't be able to get out for lunch. So I think it's best that I give up my spot. Hopefully there's someone waiting to fill it. Thanks very much for the invitation, Eddie, and I hope we meet soon!

Chuck Sudo had a nice writeup of this event; I agree that it'll be a significant addition to Evanston's downtown lunch scene. Thanks to Eddie for the preview and taking time to chat about his plans. He's doing it right.
