Can anyone comment on Long Grove Apple Haus and its Uncle Johnny's Brown Bag apple pies?

I can't recall for sure, but if you don't want to be stuck with a whole pie, they have 4" minis called Baby Davy Pies, and I think they come either plain or with caramel on top.

I'm pretty sure that I'll pick one up while I'm there. I should eat more fruit.

There is no pie in Nighthawks, which is why it's such a desolate image. ~ Happy Stomach

I prefer the Brown Bag apple pies over the Baby Davy Pies since you get more filling. These pies should not be refrigerated since it ruins the texture of the crust.

Here is the Long Grove Apple Festival webpage. This contains the entertainment schedule.

We gave up trying to eat this apple fritter at the Apple Fest because it was attracting too many bees.
