My name is Louie Alexakis and I am the owner of Avli Estiatorio.
I wanted to let anyone interested in knowing that we will have a Wine Dinner on Oct. 18th at 6:30pm with both our Consulting Chef from Greece, Ms. Diane Kochilas and with winemaker George Skouras, whose Domaine Skouras was awarded Winery of the year by Wine and Spirits magazine.
The menu will consist of the following:

Peloponnesian trahana soup with pumpkin, onions and extra-virgin olive oil

Fava with Mavrodaphne-Braised Octopus
Quail wrapped in grape leaves

Winter Leek-Olive Chestnut Mélange
Mani-Style Spinach with Orange and Roasted Garlic

Lamb Shank kydonato (quince)
Dessert
Kalamata Figs Poached in Samos Muscato wine over a Manouri Cheesecake
