I bought dried mushrooms a year ago and love the way they look but have no idea of what they specifically are for?
I took a pic of them for the Mitsuwa entry... kind fo turned it into a contest... Anyone have any ideas?

They appear to be wood ear/tree ear/cloud ear/Jew's ear mushrooms. Used in hot and sour soup and mu shu pork.
