South Side Sunday – Bigger and Better!Folks,
It’s looking like this mess of a flu I have is going to keep me from the South Side on Sunday. However, I have a bigger and better back-up plan for LTHers who are still interested in the outing.
PIGMON, my South Side food mentor, has very generously offered to take my place with a revised and I think much improved itinerary. This tour will take place by car (unless you’re biking or taking public transit to meet the group).
Post here if you’ll be joining and
if you need a ride, and I’ll make sure everyone who wants to join has transportation. This line-up is truly stupendous. PIGMON has deep knowledge of the South Side, and this is basically my idea of a perfect Sunday. If you have any free time, I strongly recommend joining the group. This is a very special opportunity. I look forward to riding this tour as soon as I'm out of convalescence.
New and Improved Itinerary(NOTE: All times are approximate. If you post here that you will be joining the group, you’ll get PIGMON’s cell phone number so that you can get live updates on the group’s location on Sunday.)10:30am For those who need a ride only
Meet PIGMON @ location TBD (PM me, if you ride with PIGMON you
must be OK with cigars, if PIGMON's car fills up I will find other drivers to carpool)
11:00am Garage tacos @ covert locationIf you have your own transportation and will be meeting the group there, PM me for the location.
