    I wanted to have a get together at my place where people would bring 2 of their favorite cookbooks and discuss what makes them great and some of their favorite recipes in it.
    This is not an event where you have to make food, although anyone who feels like bringing something is welcome. I will have a few things to munch on.
    This will be October 17 at 6:30PM.

    This sounds like fun, but we're celebrating a birthday that day and can't make it. But please post the results, I'd love to hear about it!

    i think i'll be sharing my thoughts on tom colicchio's 'wichcraft' sandwich book, and arthur schwartz's 'new york city food'. looking forward to it. justjoan

    mrsm and I would have loved to attend this, but we will be with our mom for her birthday. Maybe next time.
