    In a bit of a bind here. Have a show to go in Wrigleyville that ends shortly after 10 pm. Figure sitting down at 10:30. What's up there that's not some sports bar and is decent, cute, visitable-with-a-girl.

    Conversely, headed down to my 'hood after the show to check out Bar Deville--yeah the cab will be rough. Eats around there at, say 11 pm? Same parameters. Would say screw it and do Avec and just pay for the cabs but I'm going to Alinea tomorrow and am broke.

    Those are my options. Anyone want to help a guy out?

    Uncommon Ground might be your Wrigleyville choice. If your show is of the music variety, be aware they generally have live music on weekends (unobtrusive, generally folksy singer/songwriter type). Kitchen is open till midnight.

    It's a short cab ride to Southport to go to the romantic Argentinian Steakhouse Tango Sur which is open till 11:30 on Friday and Saturday and 11 on Sunday.
