Many years ago and only once in a while, I could find veal brains at the local supermarket - Jewel or Dominick's. Now I haven't seen these in years. Anyone know who might carry veal brains?

I would call a full-service butcher, like Gepperths or Paulina Meat Market. They may not have them in stock, but I'd imagine they could order them quickly. If they are in stock, they may be frozen.

I saw either vacuum-packed pork or veal brains at Fresh Farms a couple weeks ago. You might call them if they are convenient to you.

Brains, sweetbreads, tongue, head and most delicate parts can be found at Fresh Farms. Niles. Specifically to veal brains, I was sure I had seen them, but double checked via POTS. Yes they have veal brains, veal sweetbreads as well.

    Hi,

I have found veal brains at Caputo's on Harlem.

Sahar meat market on Kedzie and Lawrence usually has a jar of brains next to other delights like balls and sweetbreads. From the size of them, I'm guessing they're lambs'.
