I cleaned out my fridge yesterday and remembered that I have some shrimp paste and curry paste, but only one recipe to go with each! I'd love to have more, so if you have some you'd like to share, I'd love to hear about them. Thanks!

I originally bought my shrimp paste so I could make this Singaporean vegetable curry that Saveur published earlier this year: http://www.saveur.com/article/Recipes/Vegetable-Curry-1000064750 (still haven't made it)

you could also use the shrimp paste in the making of kim chee

curry paste is pretty versatile. is it thai or indian?

Perhaps related and requires fewer ingredients, you could make Filipino ginataang gulay. My favorite use of shrimp paste requires no cooking. Just find some green mangoes.
