Okay, more than a little misleading subject line, but I just got a "pre-sale" offer for a night with Bourdain at the Chicago Theater on April 24. He was giving this kind of stuff away on book tours in the past. Not sure what the ticket pricing will be like but do they really expect to fill the Chicago Theater?
UPDATE: Answering my own question, tickets range from $43 to $128. A bit high even if U2 is backing him up.

Odder still is that this a return engagement - he's doing the same at the Genessee Theatre in Waukegan tomorrow. I briefly considered going, until I saw the ticket prices. Good lord. Is he mad, or is the promoter?

Now I’ve seen it ALL. Is his life so far in the cra**er that he has to do kid shows for a few bucks?? Do we need to start the “Save Tony from Himself” fund?? I can understand Rachel Ray doing something like this, but Tony??
